PSERN User Equipment
During the PSERN Project, agencies that had 800 MHz radios active on the King County Emergency Radio Communications System (KCERCS) received replacement radios for use on the PSERN System.
The system currently has over 18,000 active radios.
PSERN is an 800MHz simulcast trunked radio system, utilizing Project 25 (P25) Phase II digital technology. As such, user equipment must conform to the P25 standard and be equipped with a specific set of features to ensure compatibility.
PSERN has established a standard list of radio equipment approved for use on the network. More information can be found below:
