Working Hard for Our Region!

Hey peeps! Whew made it through another week! I don’t know about you but it has been a long one for me!

So I wanted to take a moment to talk about the awesome team I work with. As you can imagine it takes a dedicated hard working group of folks to pull off a project the size of PSERN! Many people think in government it’s a slow pace but not if you work on our project. There is never a dull moment!

Our fearless leader and Project Director is at the helm steering the project and making sure the team has the tools they need to get the job done. Our Lead Project Manager is responsible for make sure we stay on scope, schedule and budget! Then there our Tech Lead who has the fun job of coordinating equipment selection, and advising the project on all things technical (you may have seen in him in a few pics here and there. He loves the camera!) We have two Construction Managers who are the dynamic duo keeping things moving in the field and making sure the vendors stay on point.

Our Government Relations Officer is a great guy who builds relationships with the higher ups and keeps us up to par on the political side of things. Our spirited IT Administrator keeps things running smoothly on the project coordinating our important meetings and making sure our files are kept straight (she also keeps us full of yummy desserts!). What is a big project like this without a couple more Project Managers? They are onboard to help our Lead Project manager keep the project moving forward. They also work with our Master Scheduler to make sure the project is on track for completion on time. Lastly, but certainly not least we have a Communications Manager. Her job is to evangelize the project through various forms of materials and multimedia as well as make sure we always look good (not just on camera!).

Well there you have it! That is our team. Oh! I guess I forgot about myself and Officer Squelch! We are the PSERN Mascots and our job is to also evangelize the project and make sure you are always in the loop with what we are doing.

It’s Friday and I have catch my ride home! Have a great weekend!
